AgroBio’s purpose is to foster the advancement of plant biotechnology in the country, particularly as an alternative to enable greater efficiency and sustainability to agricultural, forestry and agribusiness activities.

To accomplish that, AgroBio represents its member companies with governmental bodies in issues relating to the regulation of activities involving genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and their by-products in Brazil. AgroBio also maintains broad/extensive dialogue with entities that represent the productive chain.

In this way, the association fulfills its function by encouraging responsible and sustainable innovation, thus, contributing for the strengthening of Brazil’s agriculture and agribusiness.
